David Turvey
(Co-Founder)

David brings to our team over 20 years of landscape, technology, and client care excellence. His deep respect for nature drives Rowantree’s focus on environmental practices.

- David attended the University of Guelph and has a strong belief in lifelong learning. To further his passion for landscaping, he achieved his Certified Landscape Manager certification in 2016, & his Master Gardener certification in 2017

- When he’s not working, David is a family man and likes to participate in anything that involves his partner Laurie and their 4 children.

- David has lived in Elora since 2006 and values giving back to the community, consolidating his volunteer community service through local service clubs.

Benjamin Doerksen
(Co-Founder)

Ben is a University of Guelph Graduate, as well as a Graduate of Humber College's Certified Landscape Technician Program in Toronto.

He has worked in environmental research, horticulture, and construction for Humber College and the Humber Arboretum.

- He is the recipient of both the Ontario Horticultural Trades Foundation Horticulturist Scholarship and the Ontario Parks Association Student Award of Recognition

- Ben has almost 10 years of experience in the green industry from Vancouver to Toronto.

- His adoration of environmental stewardship is followed closely by his passion for local biodiversity, an inclination for skillful construction, and love for supporting a collaborative and diverse business community.

- When Ben isn't honing his craft, he can be found either composing, producing, or performing his own music, taking a long well-deserved nap, or walk with his beloved dog.
