Community Involvement
We believe that all communities deserve and are improved by conscientious green spaces, as much as we believe in the communities themselves.
Part of our professional and personal mission statements at Rowantree Landscapes is that all benefit from supporting the other. That a community is only as strong as it's care for its constituents, just as a business is only as strong as its care for its patrons.
Collaboration and contribution are fundamental values for Rowantree Landscapes, and we try to embody those values whenever we can. Below are some of those moments captured.
Sunrise Therapeutic Riding & Learning Centre
When the Rowantree team discovered that one of our favourite charities was building a therapy forest we immediately said we'd like to participate. Dave joined the advisory board to help plan the forest.
It was decided that at the entrance to the forest a couple of pollinator garden beds would welcome visitors and these were built by Rowantree during the 2019 season.
Guelph Rotary Forest
As a member of one of the local Rotary Clubs, Rowantree sees many opportunities to give back to the community.
When a call went out from the Guelph Rotary club for volunteers to plant trees at their Guelph Lake Rotary forest Rowantree signed on for 2 planting days. One in 2018 as a planter and again in 2019 as a Tree Captain.
